From Jobsite Foundations to Refined Interiors

Tara’s design story began long before Haley Design Company.

As a child, she accompanied her father to commercial HVAC jobsites, absorbing the rhythm of construction — blueprints spread across truck hoods, tools carefully organized, trades coordinating to bring complex systems together. That early exposure built a deep respect for craftsmanship and execution.

After earning a B.A. in Accounting, she joined J.M. Haley Corp., eventually advancing to Chief Financial Officer. Fifteen years inside the construction business gave her fluency in budgeting, scheduling, trade coordination, and the realities behind beautiful finished spaces.

In 2020, after dedicating years to raising her family, Tara returned with a renewed creative focus — founding Haley Design Company and earning her Interior Design degree from Parsons School of Design.

The result?
Designs that are as thoughtfully engineered as they are visually compelling.
