INSTALLATION GUIDE

For outdoor spaces, we offer a full range of tiles that are purpose-designed in terms of sizes and surface properties. Porcelain stoneware is available in the 9-millimeter thickness with an anti-slip surface for outdoor use, for a tile installation with adhesives on a screed substrate. For dry installation systems, meanwhile, we propose its Aextra, special outdoor collections comprising slabs for outdoor use in 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses.

Pool Tiles

Glass Pool tile

Glass tile is always in style. Though we don't recommend using glass tile for exterior flooring (it gets very slippery when wet!), it's a great option for outdoor accent walls, submerged water features, pools, and spas.

Add a tropical vibe to your outdoor space with our Palms tile.  It creates an on-trend chevron pattern that's so eye-catching. Available in 12 colors in a matte finish and 6 colors in a gloss finish.  One of the colors is Lagoon, a rich shade of green with blue undertones, this tile feels fresh out of Hawaii.  Or check out our Tommy Bahama collection from Lunada Bay... beachy vibes with collections inspired by the best beaches on earth.

For something more traditional (subway tile, anyone), our rectangular tiles can be installed horizontally or vertically to create a timeless design.

Our Waveline tile is available in 15 colors in a matte finish and 6 colors in a gloss finish.  There is also a mini version available in 10 colors in a matte finish and 3 colors in a gloss finish...so there's something for every exterior. This glass tile is perfect for water features since it's designed to evoke the waves of the ocean.

Natural Stone Cladding

Carbonstone cladding facade

Using natural stone cladding can add a ton of curb appeal to your home. The Ledger Stone Collection, specifically the Carbon color, can upgrade the look of your pool surrounds, fireplace surrounds, exterior walls, and more. Not only does this type of cladding add architectural interest, but it is also resistant to the elements, making it a great option for outdoor use. To see the entire collection, head over to Tile America.

If you are considering updating your outdoor space, Tile America's collection of outdoor tiles can help you effortlessly transition from indoor to outdoor. Their Whisper collection, made of porcelain, is perfect for any outdoor project. Porcelain tiles are frost-proof, which means that they will not break when water freezes inside them. Unlike other types of tiles, porcelain is fired at extremely high temperatures, resulting in a tile that is impervious to water. Remember, when it comes to frost-proof or frost-resistant tiles, only porcelain can offer the protection you need.
